Description

This Easy Chicken Marinade is packed with bold, savory flavor using simple pantry ingredients—perfect for juicy grilled, baked, or pan-seared chicken any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

Instructions

  • In a bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, Dijon mustard, oregano, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–4 hours.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and cook using your preferred method: grill, bake, or pan-sear.
  • Discard leftover marinade. Serve chicken hot with your favorite sides.
