- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
Instructions
- In a bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, Dijon mustard, oregano, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–4 hours.
- Remove chicken from marinade and cook using your preferred method: grill, bake, or pan-sear.
- Discard leftover marinade. Serve chicken hot with your favorite sides.
